Have you ever watched the short-term memory loss movies named 50 First Dates, Ghajini? I hope that you did enjoy well the movie with your spouse or lover. You may watch full of natural incidents and romance of the main characters.
However, the “Anterograde amnesia” or the blackout is the main cited topic in this romantic film. Now you are thinking about its definition. Here I am describing about this common disease in easy way.

What is short-term memory loss?
Amnesia is a medical term. This is an alternative name of memory loss. A person having amnesia cannot remember past events happened with him for a short or long time. People of different ages may have this critical disease.
Six types of amnesia disease are available in medical dictionary. Anterograde amnesia is one of them. This is a critical brain disorder happens for any type of brain injury. Nearest happened events to the brain wound get cleared from brain and the victim loses his memory.  If a 30 years old man have this blackout disease, seems that he can remember all the childhood stories but not the last few years’ happenings.

If a man gets any mental or emotional attack, can have loss of short-term memory. Due to the damage of Thalamus and Hypothalamus where the brain stores the long-term memories can create Anterograde amnesia. Neurons work disorderly.

Anterograde amnesia can bring sufferings for any person. This can stop the brain’s work such as inputting data and storing them. When the victim wants to remember the expected incidents happened with him, cannot be able to express the pain in mind and body. He cannot do his regular work properly. This pathetic disease can break anyone’s family. He even forgets what is or was important for his life. Intelligence, knowledge, attention strength, consciousness and judgments all these goes far from the victim. Staying with a family member having loss of short-term memory becomes impossible for other healthy members.
In a word, a man cannot live as a living being for the rest of the life.

There are various tips to cure or treatments for short-term memory loss. A man can improve memory or brainpower in several steps. He needs to follow few memory improvement tips to keep himself away from losing memory. These could be physical, mental or taking medicines.

Drinking alcohol, smoking, drug addiction is the main reason for losing the brain memory. A man should keep himself out of addiction. These bad addictions help him to drop in danger. A healthy body requires 6-7 hours’ sleep a day. Walking, running, swimming have good effect on brain. He can earn lots of happiness traveling in open place.

Rest of brain is important. Solving mathematical studies, quizzes, reading books are some sort of physical and mental exercises. These will help the victim reducing the memory loss.

Mental fitness can solve the problem. A man should do what he loves. This will keep him in touch of the subject. He should not keep pressure in brain. Socializing is good as he can mix up with the social activities. Keeping the world in mind smaller cannot help improving confidence and memory power.

While a man is suffering Anterograde amnesia, he should organize his daily life in systematic way. He can use diaries or notebook what are his daily works, appointments or parties by writing them. Try, repeat, self-confidence these will help him to do household or business works properly.He can store information in the brain in few ways. He can sing songs; write in pad what he wants to remember for the later. He should take all the matters easily.
